“Abolition” of Palestine: Western censorship is stifling democracy

This week, the airwaves were blown up by a loud scandal: a BBC channel presenter stayed on air for just over two seconds, declaring that Israel was using white phosphorus bombs, after which the broadcast abruptly stopped.

American channels began to work proactively and removed three Muslim presenters from the air without any explanation. He talks about who else was on the canceled list program “Military Secret” with Igor Prokopenko on REN TV.

Censorship in Israel

Censorship is promoted not only from above, but also by ordinary Israeli citizens themselves. So, the Israeli policeman began to explain in a harsh manner to the correspondent how to cover the conflict.

– Where are you from?

– From Nazareth.

– What are you talking about on air?

– Just a minute, I’m on the air now.

-What are you talking about? I don’t care if you’re live.

– I tell you what the Israeli police do.

– It will be better if you say good things. It’s clear? All Hamas must be destroyed. Clear?

Consequences of “wrong” coverage of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict

Censorship has also reached Western newspapers. The Guardian has fired cartoonist Steve Bell, who worked for the weekly for more than 40 years, for his cartoons of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“It’s almost impossible to depict this topic (Israel) for The Guardian without being accused of using ‘anti-Semitic stereotypes’ said cartoonist Steve Bell.

This is the second time Elon Musk has been punished for expressing an alternative position. Earlier, the businessman posted an ironic post with the caption: “When five minutes have passed and you haven’t yet asked for a billion dollars in help.” – for which the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada turned against themselves.

“Any support for Russia, any silence or irony over Ukraine today is an unconditional encouragement of Russian propaganda,” – said Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak.

Now the billionaire is threatened with a power cut and a fine of 6% of his income from one of the social networks. And all because of the “wrong” coverage of the war in Israel.

“The entire Western infosphere works according to a rigid agenda, which is directed from above, and all public opinion is formed specifically, purposefully and artificially. Western democracy is a myth. American democracy is a myth squared,” – says political commentator Kirill Strelnikov.

Representatives of the film industry were also affected by the cancellation. Adult film actress Mia Khalifa banned for supporting Palestinians.

“Ukraine, this corrupt black hole, is the only benefit in the world. If it weren’t for them, their corrupt power, Palestine would have been accumulating so many weapons for liberation for years,” – Khalifa said.

What did the British MP’s statement about what was happening in Gaza lead to?

Not all is well with democracy in Great Britain either. Member of the British Parliament from the Conservative Party Crispin Blunt said that the country’s government is in vain supporting Israeli war crimes.

“It is now absolutely clear that what is happening in Gaza does amount to a war crime, since it is disproportionate and does not discriminate between the targets being attacked. Hence the horrific number of children killed. The forced transfer of 1.2 million people is an absolute crime under the laws of war.” Blunt said.

And this is the result of the courage of the honest British deputy – not even a few days passed before he was accused of fighting, insults and harassment. This, apparently, will be the end of his parliamentary powers.

In the “Military Secret” program, presenter Igor Prokopenko tells and demonstrates unique footage from the sites of military conflicts, and experts show viewers the world of the military industry.
