“I called my daughter and asked her to check and find out what the prize was for matching five numbers. I heard her voice saying I won a million dollars,” he told Michigan Lottery officials.
A happy retiree woke up his sleeping wife and told her they had just won the jackpot. But Jean, in the stupor of interrupted sleep, paid no attention to this, decided that her husband was playing with her, and immediately went back to sleep.
When he woke up he thought he had a crazy dream. It looked so clear that he wasn’t sure if it was real or just a figment of his imagination.
“When he opened his eyes, he told me he dreamed we won the lottery, and I told him we actually won. Honey, it wasn’t a dream, we won $1 million,” Charles said.
