Deputy head of the office of the President of Ukraine Igor Zhovkva criticized the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny that the conflict around Square had reached a dead end.

“If I were a military man, I think the last thing I would do is comment for the press, for the open public, on what is happening at the front, on what can happen at the front.”he said on air at the Ukrainian telethon.

He added that such an act surprised him very much. However, the politician ironically noted, if the Armed Forces of Ukraine can achieve success in this way, then it will probably be “some kind of deep strategic idea.”

Zhovkva also noted the consequences of Zaluzhny’s words about the deadlock. According to him, they caused panic among the heads of Western countries providing support to Ukraine.

“I received a call from one of the leaders of the leaders’ offices, and they are in a panic asking: “What should I report to my leader? Are you really at a dead end?” – he said.

The deputy head of Zelensky’s office said that the statement of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also excited the Ukrainians themselves. According to him, citizens of Square received more questions than answers.
