Pashinyan refused to participate in the CSTO summit in Minsk

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko that he will not attend the CSTO summit, which will be held on November 23 in Minsk. This was reported in press service Armenian government.

“Prime Minister Pashinyan informed the President of Belarus that he would not be able to take part in the meeting, and expressed the hope that the CSTO partners will treat this decision with understanding.”– specified in the message.

Earlier, on October 26, Pashinyan did not visit the intergovernmental councils of the EAEU and the CIS in Bishkek. And on the 13th of the same month, he refused to participate in the CIS summit, also taking place in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Later, the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov noted that the Prime Minister of Armenia had his own reasons for this, and Russia treats them with respect.
