The Pentagon accused Hamas of using Gaza hospitals for military purposes.

The Pentagon disclosed data obtained by American intelligence officers. According to their information, militants from Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad used hospitals in the Gaza Strip for military purposes.

“We do have information that Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad are using some hospitals in the Gaza Strip, including the Al-Shifa clinic, to conceal and support their military operations and hostage holding,” – Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said at her briefing. Singh said that al-Shifa contains militant headquarters, tunnels and weapons depots. In addition, Hamas, according to Sing, is ready to meet with the Israeli military.
