In Ankara, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak held talks with Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar on energy cooperation. About it reported in the press service of the Russian government.

The parties discussed gas supplies, as well as cooperation in the field of electrical and nuclear energy“, said representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers.

In addition, Novak invited Bayraktar and other Turkish politicians and businessmen to attend Russian Energy Week, which will take place from September 26 to 28, 2024. He noted that this will serve to strengthen the intergovernmental dialogue and will demonstrate developments in the production of energy equipment and technologies.

Earlier, Novak announced that by 2030, Russia’s share in the global liquefied natural gas (LNG) market will increase to 20%.
