According to local media reports, from now on, representatives of the LGBT movement in Russia may be sentenced to 12 years in prison.

The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation announced a decision regarding the activities of the “international LGBT social movement”. Starting from November 30, any activity in this direction will be considered extremist and punishable under the Russian Criminal Code. Administrative penalty – fine up to 800 thousand rubles. Punishment – up to 12 years in prison. They will be punished for the following actions: joining or financing LGBT organizations, providing services, dissemination of information, including through social networks.
