US aircraft carrier Gerald Ford left the Mediterranean Sea

The American aircraft carrier Gerald Ford, together with the strike group, passed through the Strait of Gibraltar and left the Mediterranean Sea, the website reported. US 6th Fleet.

“The aircraft carrier Gerlad Ford … passed through the Strait of Gibraltar and left the Mediterranean Sea,” – the message says.

Together with the aircraft carrier, the strike group also left the waters.

It is emphasized that since June the ship has been conducting operations and exercises in the areas of responsibility of the US European Command and the US Africa Command.

According to the aircraft carrier’s captain, Rick Burgess, the sailors demonstrated the ship’s advanced technology and “performed remarkably well” during their stay in the Mediterranean.
