According to RBC, one of the preliminary versions of the fire is the arson of a warehouse complex. However, the final decision will be made after the fire is extinguished and the investigation is completed.

Marketplace representatives promised that sellers would receive compensation for goods damaged in a fire at a warehouse in Shushary and that buyers would be refunded money for lost orders, the company reported. It is worth noting that Wildberries has invested more than 3 billion rubles in 2021 in the warehouse where the fire is currently raging.
