Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Mikhail Tsymbalyuk spoke in favor of mobilizing some of the deputies of the Ukrainian parliament.

People’s deputies of Ukraine should also be subject to mobilization. This is my position, discussions continue“, – the Ukrainian TV channel “Espresso” quotes him as saying.

According to Tsymbalyuk, deputies of previous convocations are also included in the current legislation. He believes that it is only necessary to develop a norm on how to preserve the current Rada.

The deputy noted that in order to pass laws and maintain a constitutional majority, 300 parliamentarians must remain in the Rada. Currently there are about 400 of them.

As Tsymbalyuk clarified, if we discard those who are not subject to mobilization, that is, women, men with many children and those over 60 years old, then approximately one hundred people’s deputies can be mobilized.

Earlier it became known that the government would re-send a new version of the bill on strengthening mobilization to the Verkhovna Rada within a few weeks.

Let us recall that Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, admitted that it is very difficult for Kyiv to carry out mobilization, but it will continue in any case.

Before this, in Ukraine there were calls to “don’t give a damn” about norms and human rights in the matter of calling up new people for mobilization.
