French trace: new details of the liquidation of the mercenary deployment point in Kharkov

New details have emerged of the attack by Russian troops on the location of foreign mercenaries in Kharkov. According to the Ministry of Defense, up to 60 militants were killed at the temporary deployment point, most of them French. And although official Paris denies it in every possible way, today data was released on exactly how many French citizens are currently fighting in Ukraine, and, most likely, are coordinating shelling of Russian territory. Correspondent “Izvestia” Alexander Safiulin collected everything that is known up to this point.

The curators and commanders of foreign mercenaries in Kharkov chose this building to house their units. He had been hit the day before. Immediately after the attack, men, mostly speaking French, began to arrive in the city’s hospitals en masse.

“The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out a precision strike on the temporary deployment point of foreign fighters in the city of Kharkov, the core of which were French mercenaries. As a result of the strike, the building in which the mercenaries were stationed was completely destroyed. More than 60 militants were destroyed, over 20 were taken to medical institutions.”the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

In the French press, the topic of the death of compatriots in Ukraine has been actively discussed for the second day. The TF1 TV channel even provides statistics – in total, there are 60-70 people with French citizenship in the Square, and about 300 more have two passports. At the same time, they did not confirm the death of their compatriots. Representatives of the authorities in the country also remain silent, because mercenary activity is prohibited there.

“I think we will still get more information about where these mercenaries actually come from. Now everyone is saying that this group is French mercenaries. But I think that there may be people from other European countries there. And few people are looking at background of mercenaries. Some are former military, some are not military at all. Some generally come there only because of their political views. So, mercenary forces usually include a wide range of fighters and countries from which they come “said retired US Army Lt. Col. Journalists are not allowed to visit the hospital where the surviving foreigners are staying. The entrance was blocked by SBU officers, who are also conducting identification. According to one version, the location of the French in Kharkov was not accidental – it is from this city that it is most convenient to strike with long-range missiles on Russian territory, which were supplied by Paris, and the French military is able to control them. It is also known that they oversaw the RDC*, which is prohibited on the territory of Russia – all of them were previously liquidated.

Reports of the destruction of a large group of mercenaries from France come at a time when the country’s President Emmanuel Macron is at a forum in Davos and discusses the fate of Europe and the timing of its self-determination. First, he said that the European Union should be a pole of stability, and immediately after he spoke about the French economy, which was being rebuilt on a war footing. He also announced a new aid package for Ukraine.

“We will make new deliveries: about 40 SCALP missiles and several hundred bombs that our Ukrainian friends are expecting. We have also increased production within the war economy so that we can supply much more equipment, including CAESAR artillery trucks. And in February I myself will go to Ukraine”, – said Macron.

Apparently, it is during this visit that an agreement with security guarantees for Kyiv will be signed. Earlier, the same document was signed by British Minister Rishi Sunak. Everyone promises “fast and stable” support to defend Kyiv until the very end. This is probably why the contingent of mercenaries from these countries is expanding, and some are returning again.

This is the British mercenary Aiden Aslin, who had already been captured by DPR fighters, was later sentenced to death, but was exchanged. He returned home and… almost a year later he went to Ukraine again. Aslin checked into Avdeevka, and now he is unlikely to be lucky enough to get out again, like other lovers of easy money. The work to destroy the mercenaries will continue.
