The Ukrainian Armed Forces may soon lose their foothold in the Krynok region. British expert Alexander Mercouris warned about this on the Duran YouTube channel.

“The bridgehead is practically on the verge of collapse, Ukrainian fighters can hardly offer any resistance,” – he said, adding that the Ukrainian side would not have enough soldiers remaining on this bridgehead to hold it.

In addition, the expert noted that even the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants who remained there are very sick, and the conditions on the bridgehead are “hellish” for them.

Merkouris called the situation in Krynki the most difficult for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The likely loss of this bridgehead will put an end to the attempts of the Ukrainian military to advance towards Crimea, the expert said.
