According to him, such statements are part of the information war. One of its goals is to justify the West’s hybrid aggression against Russia and the desire to frighten it with the possibility of a direct clash with the North Atlantic Alliance.
A similar statement was previously made by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova. The diplomat noted that for the sake of negotiations with Ukraine, Russia does not intend to abandon its principles, and the West will not be able to lure it into a trap.
