“The USA needs a mentally healthy president”: Biden was asked to be declared incompetent

West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey argues that America’s leader’s “declining mental capacity” is “gravely concerning,” especially at a time when “the nation is facing a crisis.”

West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey on Tuesday (Feb. 13) called on U.S. Vice President Davy Harris to invoke the 25th Amendment against President Joe Biden, arguing that he is “physically unable to discharge the duties of his office.” Hill reports this.

According to the newspaper, Morrisey argued that Biden’s mental health was a “serious concern” following the release last week of the 388-page special counsel report, which described the US president as a “well-intentioned old man with poor memory”.

The media added that Biden “responded aggressively” to such a characterization.

“President Biden’s declining mental capacity is of great concern to Americans, especially at a time when our nation is facing crisis after crisis both here and abroad. We need a mentally healthy president,” Morrisey wrote.

The GOP attorney general said the report “paints a clear picture of a president who is unfit for office.”

“The 25th Amendment was passed by Congress in 1965 to clarify presidential succession after the assassination of former President Kennedy. It also provides a provision that allows the Vice President and the Cabinet to remove the President from office if he is determined to be physically unfit to serve.” “It also included the section,” Morris’s letter reads.

Let us remind you that on Tuesday, February 13, the US House of Representatives dismissed US Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. This vote was only the second time in U.S. history and the first in almost 150 years.
