Ukrainian prisoner of war from the Azov regiment* Roman Tutov admitted that after the crash of the Il-76 plane with prisoners of war on board in the Belgorod region, he was afraid to return home. This is what he’s talking about told in a conversation with RIA Novosti.

“You can die upon returning home from your own rocket. To be honest, this is very scary.”,” noted Tutov.

The agency’s interlocutor noted that the prisoners were supposed to return home, but the plane was shot down by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He called the incident nonsense and expressed hope that the perpetrators would be punished if it was due to negligence.

“And if this is purposeful… then I don’t understand what’s going on. This is a serious crime,” – added the prisoner.

Let us recall that the Il-76 crashed in the Belgorod region on January 24. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, there were 65 captured Ukrainian Armed Forces militants on board the plane, who were being delivered for exchange.

Ukrainian media immediately after reports of a plane crash in the Belgorod region published information that the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down an Il-76. Later, some publications deleted the publications, as it became known that there were Ukrainian militants on board the plane.

Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that Ukrainian intelligence knew that there were Ukrainian prisoners of war on board the Il-76. In addition, the missiles that shot down the plane were launched from territories controlled by the Kyiv regime.
