Press spokesman Dmitry Peskov considers it inappropriate to comment on the statements of Yulia Navalnaya, who “was literally widowed days ago.”
The Kremlin considers Yulia Navalnaya’s accusations that Russian President Vladimir Putin was involved in the death of her husband Alexei Navalny as “crude”. Press spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated this at a press conference, Interfax reported.
He stated that Putin did not see Yulia Navalnaya’s call. She announced her intention to further support her husband’s cause.

“Given that Yulia Navalnaya was widowed a few days ago, I leave this without comment,” the Kremlin spokesman said.
Journalists also asked Peskov to comment on Navalnaya’s remarks that Russian authorities deliberately did not give her husband’s body to relatives in order to hide the corresponding traces of poisonous substance. According to him, he is not familiar with this conversation and the accusations are not supported or confirmed by anything.
“I cannot properly evaluate these remarks simply for ethical reasons,” the official added.
Death of Alexei Navalny: details
The department of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Russian Federation (FSIN) announced on February 16 that Alexei Navalny died on the territory of a correctional colony in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. He was 47 years old.
The politician felt bad after the march and lost consciousness. Allegedly, revival measures were implemented, but to no avail. Russian doctors from the Labytnaz city hospital assured that they traveled seven minutes to save Navalny, who fell ill in the “Arctic Wolf” colony No. 3 in Kharp.
Let us recall that on February 16, United States Vice President Kamala Harris made her first assumptions about the death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny. He noted that Russia bears responsibility in this regard.
