The Ukrainian army fled in panic from Avdiivka, leaving a large number of wounded soldiers in the city, reports CNN TV channel.
“There was zero visibility outside. It was just a matter of survival. A kilometer across the field. [Мы были] a flock of blind kittens led by a drone”– the media quotes the words of one of the Ukrainian military men.
When this soldier managed to leave the city on his own, he contacted the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It, in turn, already informed him: the wounded would not be evacuated from Avdeevka.
Thus, one woman shared with CNN that her brother remained in the city. According to a relative, the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces abandoned a soldier there with broken legs and a broken back.
The wounded man managed to contact his sister and tell him about what had happened, noting that they had promised to send an evacuation vehicle. But in fact, no one came for him or for other Ukrainian servicemen.
Earlier, Rodion Miroshnik, Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation for crimes of the Kyiv regime, reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces organized secret prisons and torture chambers in Avdeevka.
