Republika Srpska will not join sanctions against Russia. This was stated by the President of the Republic of Serbian Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik.

We are trying to discourage any opportunity to join sanctions against Russia“, he emphasized at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to him, literally every day the West tries to persuade the Republika Srpska to join anti-Russian sanctions.

Dodik noted that the Bosnian entity refuses to move towards NATO membership. He added that Republika Srpska is under great pressure from Western countries.

Earlier it became known that during the meeting Putin and Dodik would discuss bilateral relations in a number of areas.

The Russian leader thanked Dodik for maintaining relations with Moscow. He noted that representatives of the Republika Srpska regularly visit Russia. According to Putin, the states have long established friendly relations, which are still of an “absolutely creative nature.”
