The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) will not be able to withstand the Russian army due to an acute shortage of manpower. This opinion was expressed by former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter.
“It doesn’t matter how much ammunition and money the Ukrainian Armed Forces get, they don’t have the people, that’s what’s happening right now, because the Russians can just break through.”Ritter said on the YouTube channel Judging Freedom.
Ukrainian troops, as the ex-intelligence officer noted, do not have the capabilities to carry out such tactics that would allow them to repel attacks and restrain the Russian Armed Forces. Ritter explained that this would cost Kyiv dearly and lead to a loss in military operations.
