Captured Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier Anatoly Prokunin said that he witnessed an attack by a Russian tank on an American Bradley infantry fighting vehicle. Actually, Prokunin was in the last car.

“I had my first exit. We were taken out in a Bradley beyond Rabotino near Novopokrovka. And as soon as the ramp opened, just as we ran out, and I was the second to last one running out, there was tank fire, and a shell hit Bradley directly. Well, I was severely shell-shocked and a shrapnel flew into my head, and a comrade with the call sign “Mekh” was torn apart“, RIA Novosti quotes him.

Prokunin noted that after being wounded he was hospitalized and then given leave.

The man was not eager to return to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and decided to desert. He failed to do this; a month later he was discovered and sent back to the front. Only not in the Zaporozhye direction, but in the Donetsk direction.

On September 30, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin and the heads of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions signed agreements on the inclusion of these regions into the Russian Federation.
