Undoubtedly, the option to see in theaters in the coming days is Halloween: last night, a film that puts an end to a franchise led by the great Jamie Lee Curtis, who was recently in Mexico to promote the film and who I had the opportunity to speak with. This is not true. After the shitty movie we saw in 2021, it’s obvious that this is a real cinematic gem. If you arrive with very low expectations, with the biggest popcorn drum you can find, and plenty of soda to get up without fear of going to the bathroom, you won’t have a bad time. But don’t expect big surprises, although for me Rohan Campbell’s performance as the new villain in history surprised me a lot and I think this movie could make the Virgin River actor more visible. Obviously, there is no need to talk about the great work that Jamie Lee Curtis always does, this time already noticeably older and determined to leave the past behind. A must-see ribbon this Halloween night.

But for fans of the horror genre who don’t want to leave the house and prefer to have a movie marathon at home, in addition to the ones I recommended in the previous column, there is Werewolf By Night, a special Halloween black and white image of only 52 minutes that is already available on the platform Disney+ are worth watching because they pay homage to the classic horror movie.
