World’s only Mercedes-Benz E-Class with gull-wing doors found

In total, only ten of these cars were made, and only one of them received gull-wing doors. The owner of a private car will not part with it.

In Germany, a car enthusiast named Tino Zovko owns a unique Mercedes-Benz C124 with gull-wing doors. Details about the car are explained on the Petrolicious website.

Tino first saw the car on the cover of a magazine in 1989. He showcased this unique Mercedes-Benz 124 with unusual doors.

The car was named the Boschert B300 Gullwing and was an homage to the original Mercedes-Benz W198 Gullwing. Designer Hartmut Boschert planned to make 200 of these cars, but only ten were produced and only one received gull-wing doors.

The car was not in the best condition and had problems with the engine. Tino was finally able to afford the custom Boschert B300 Gullwing.

The car body is painted in two gray colors of different shades. The interior is made in two-tone purple tones.

To add unusual doors to the car, the body had to be strengthened. For example, the door sills are noticeably thicker and wider than the standard Mercedes-Benz C124 Convertible.

Under the hood is a 3.0-liter six-cylinder M103 engine powered by two Garrett turbos. It produces 283 horsepower. and can reach a top speed of over 265 km/h.

After Tino got his dream car, he brought it to his friend for repair. She brought it to perfect condition and fixed many malfunctions.

This Boschert B300 Gullwing took first place in the most exotic Mercedes customization category at the Mercedes Exoten Forum. Experts drew attention to the exclusivity and condition of the car.
