For men only: Ford introduced a special version of the Explorer crossover (photo)

In honor of Women’s History Month, Ford has unveiled a men-only version of the Explorer crossover. This was reported on the CarBuzz website.

In fact, the Ford Explorer “Men’s Only Edition” exists only as part of the brand’s humorous video. It shows what the automotive industry would look like without women.

In the video, the announcer introduces a new special version of the Ford Explorer. At first, the transition seems pretty mundane until some details become clear.

The announcer notes that the “Men Only” car lacks wipers, heaters, turn signals, rear-view mirrors, and GPS navigation. He added that all these were created by women.

At the end of the video Ford congratulates all the fair sex. “For this Women’s History Month, Ford celebrates the visionary automotive work of women past, present and future,” the message reads.

By the way, wipers were invented by Mary Anderson in 1902. He pointed out how the tram drivers had to constantly jump to clear the snow from the windshield.
