During the summer, average car theft rates fell to 350 criminal cases per month. In the autumn, about 240 criminal cases were opened quarterly. Already in December, the smallest number of car thefts in a year was recorded – 100.
At the beginning of 2023, the number of car thefts was even less than before the start of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation. In the first two months of this year, 310 cases of vehicle theft were recorded. This is 20% less than January-February 2022.
