Renault will remove its flagship crossover from production: the reason is known (photo)

Sales of Renault Koleos in Europe will end in November this year. The crossover will be replaced by two new models at the same time.

Production of the Renault Koleos crossover will be discontinued and a new generation is not planned. The last cars will roll off the assembly line in Busan, South Korea, in 2024. This was known to the journalists of the L’argus site.

In Europe, Renault Koleos sales are already starting to fall. The last cars for the European market will be assembled before the end of April and they plan to sell before November.

The version for the Asian market, sold under the name Renault QM6, will last a little longer in production. The new Geely crossover, which will be put together as part of a new cooperation program with Renault, will be discontinued next year to free up production capacity.

The third generation of the new Renault Koleos is not planned – two models will simultaneously become the successors of the crossover. The first is the recently introduced seven-seat Renault Espace crossover, comparable in size to the Koleos.

The second model has not yet been offered. It is known that this will be a stylish coupe-crossover based on the Renault Austral, which will be released in early 2024.

Recall that the Renault Koleos crossover was introduced in 2007. The second generation of the model has been launched since 2016.

Previously Focus Renault reported that it will stop producing the low-cost coupe crossover Arkana.

We also wrote that the new Duster 2024 was noticed during the tests.
