The 2022 Detroit Auto Show has been the perfect venue for various brands in the automotive sector to showcase their new products. Ford, for example, introduced the seventh generation Mustang. However, AERWINS Technologies attracted a lot of attention after the presentation of its flying motorcycle.
Glances in the direction of a particular machine was not long in coming. According to the manufacturer, this innovative vehicle is called XTURISMO and will be sold in the US next year.
The flying car is being sold in Japan, where those interested can access the company’s official website to start the booking process. However, this amount of technology leads to a negative factor: the price, as it is listed, is $770,000.
However, the manufacturer is aware of the high cost of the XTURISMO, which is why it claims to be working on a much smaller model that will hit the market in 2025 and will cost around $50,000.
XTURISMO specifications
The aircraft is powered by an internal combustion system together with a battery powered by autonomous control through an electrical control system, weighs 300 kg, has a length of 3.7 meters, a width of 2.4 meters and a height of 1.5 meters. On a mechanical level, it offers an acceleration of 80 to 100 kilometers per hour at a cruising speed of 40 km/h.
