Sales of new and used electric vehicles are increasing rapidly. Most often, Ukrainians buy used models, but the share of new cars is growing.
In the first half of 2023, 12.6 thousand electric vehicles were purchased in Ukraine. That’s three times more than in 2022 for the same period. Details are reported in the association “Ukravtoprom”.
Ukrainians bought 2.8 thousand new electric vehicles in six months. Another 9.8 thousand electric cars were purchased second-hand.
The share of new cars in the electric vehicle segment increased by 4%. Experts believe that growth will continue in the near future.
