Mercedes presented a luxury electric crossover with a power reserve of 719 km (photo)

The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV is now equipped with a battery pack with a capacity of 118 kWh. The power reserve ranges from 673 to 719 km on a single charge.

The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV electric crossover has a new battery with a larger capacity. Thanks to this, the model now has an increased power reserve. This was reported on the Autocar website.

Mercedes-Benz said the new 118 kWh battery will be fitted to all EQS SUVs by the end of 2023. It also uses a different chemical process that provides lower operating temperatures.

The base Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV 450+ now has a range of 719 km. The four-wheel drive EQS 450 4Matic, EQS 500 4Matic and EQS 580 4Matic versions can travel up to 673 km on a single charge.

The electric crossover is expected to weigh around 60 kg more. However, this will only slightly affect the use of the model.

The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV 580 4Matic is equipped with two electric motors with a total power of 544 hp. and 858 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.6 seconds, while the maximum speed is 210 km/h.

Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV prices in Ukraine start from 96,851 Euros (3,884,364 UAH). The top version of the EQS 580 4Matic will cost at least 117,823 euros (4,725,480 UAH).
