Demand for cars from China continues to increase in Ukraine. In October 2023, Ukrainians purchased 1,306 Chinese-made passenger cars. These statistics are provided by the Ukravtoprom association.
Last month, 878 new cars were brought from China, and they already occupied 15% of the Ukrainian market. 428 second-hand cars were imported, their share is 2%.
The vast majority (84%) of cars coming from China are electric vehicles. They are leaders among both new and used cars, and the same models make it into the top 5: the Volkswagen ID.4 and ID.6 crossovers, the new Toyota bZ4X and the compact city car Honda e. That is, Ukrainians are more likely to choose cars of well-known global brands produced in China.
