The new Dongfeng eπ 007 entered the market. The price of the original electric sedan in China starts at 159,000 yuan ($22,100). This was reported by the website CarNewsChina.

The Dongfeng eπ 007 electric car is a streamlined liftback coupe with a sloping roof and a pronounced “nose”. It has slim LED headlights and a retractable wing on the trunk lid.

The aerodynamics of the Dongfeng eπ 007 are well developed: the drag coefficient is 0.209. However, the most original feature of the electric car is its front doors, which rise just like Lamborghini.

Dimensions of Dongfeng eπ 007:

• length – 4880 mm;
• width – 1895 mm;
• height – 1460 mm;
• wheelbase – 2915 mm.

The cabin is equipped with a virtual instrument panel and multimedia with a 15.6-inch touchscreen and face recognition function. The equipment of the Dongfeng eπ 007 is very rich: the basic version has a parking autopilot, semi-autonomous driving system, perfume diffuser, acoustics with 20 speakers, electric drive and massage seats.

The new Dongfeng eπ 007 will be offered in four different versions, three of which are fully electric.

• rear-wheel drive, 218 hp. s., 6.8 seconds to 100 km/h, 56.8 kWh battery, range 530 km;
• rear-wheel drive, 272 hp. s., 5.8 seconds to 100 km/h, 70.2 kWh battery, range 620 km;
• all-wheel drive, 544 hp. 3.9 seconds to 100 km/h, 70.2 kWh battery, range 540 km.

The fourth option has 218 horsepower and is complemented by a 1.5-liter gasoline generator. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds, and a small 28.4 kWh battery allows it to cover 200 km in electric mode. Gasoline will last another 1000 km.
