The process of processing a digital driver’s license is simple and does not require more resources than a mobile application called Mexico City Application and your driver’s license in physical format, as you will need to get some personal data from it in order to “sync” it with your mobile phone.
- The first thing you need to do is download Mexico City Application to your mobile phone via Android or iOS.
- After installation, you need to log into your account. CDMX key or else you register.
- Later you need to enter the application and select the section “digital documents”.
- Once this is done, you must select the option “add credentials”.
- In this menu you have to click on “Driver license”, and enter your license number (numbers only) and type, A or B, as appropriate. (You will find this information on the front of your physical card).
- Upon completion, a digital document will be automatically generated that will include your driver’s license on the front and a QR code on the back for verification.
