At the plenary session to be held on August 30 and 31, Morenista coordinator, Ricardo Montreal, sent an invitation to the Ministers of the Interior, Adan Augusto López Hernández, and the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Marcelo Ebrard Casaubon. It has not yet been confirmed whether Mexico City’s head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, will attend the meetings.
The meeting is expected to be attended by the entire cabinet of national security, mainly the head of the Minister of Security and Citizens’ Protection (SSPC), Rosa Isela Rodríguez Velázquez. The presence of the Minister of National Defense (Sedena) Luis Crecencio Sandoval and the Minister of the Navy Rafael Ojeda Durán were also scheduled to attend.
The Morenista parliamentary group provides for the participation of energy ministers Rocío Nale and economy ministers Tatiana Cloutier; and Minister of Communications and Transport Jorge Arganis Diaz Leal.
