Sweden risks facing a severe financial crisis amid growing energy problems in Europe. This was announced on Saturday by Prime Minister of the Kingdom Magdalena Andersson during a regular briefing for journalists.

According to her, if the Swedish government continues to be inactive, then in a short period of time the country may face the strongest financial crisis in the past few years.

In the worst case, we can fall into a financial crisis“, – said Anderson, whose words are quoted by the information agency RIA News.

In addition, the head of the Foreign Ministry stressed that the Swedish authorities will not leave the country’s private households without support against the background of the energy crisis on the European continent.

Earlier, the leader of the Italian center-right League party, Matteo Salvini, said that Europe was also responsible for the rise in energy costs.
