Power engineers continue to work on damaged infrastructure facilities, and management relies on rapid communication restoration.
Electricity and water supply in Kiev can be restored before the end of the day on November 23. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Vitaliy Klitschko, on the broadcast of the municipal television channel “Kyiv”.
According to him, repair teams and power engineers continue to work at damaged critical infrastructure facilities.
Vitali Klitschko suggested that electricity and water in Kiev could be restored by 23 November. At the same time, as the mayor warned, the city government is unable to reveal a specific time estimate for the re-activation of destroyed infrastructure damaged by missile attacks by the RF Armed Forces.
“I hope we have a more objective picture in the near future… I hope tonight (23 November – ed.) Electricity and water supply will be back. We are working on this but now we are not clear on a specific time. Tonight we will have both electricity and water supply. “We’re doing everything we can to restore it,” he said.
The mayor of Kyiv also reminded that citizens of the capital should be prepared for worst-case scenarios on the backdrop of shelling by the Russian Armed Forces and have water, food and warm clothing.
Recall that on November 23, Russian troops launched a massive missile attack on Kiev. Due to the power cut of the regional center, the arrival of enemy missiles in various parts of the capital was recorded. As a result of the missile attack of the Russian Armed Forces, there was also a water shortage in Kiev.
After a while, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko stated that Russian troops fired 31 cruise missiles towards the Ukrainian capital, of which 21 were shot down by air defense units. As a result of the bombardment, there are also dead and wounded civilians.
