DTEK recommends not connecting all devices to the network
DTEK energy company recommends not turning on all devices at the same time when the light is on, as the network cannot withstand such a heavy load. The company noted that due to the emergency, the light may remain off for much longer.
“Here you can wash or cook without a cauldron and iron. In Obolon (Kyiv region) people were so happy with the light that maybe they connected everything to the last outlet. The sender saw a terrible overload in the transformer substation by telemechanics … of the transformer. he endured, did not reduce the voltage level from 10 to 0.4 kV,” he said.
The cable line was also damaged when the equipment was turned on.
It should be noted that after a massive Russian missile attack on the morning of 16 December, the Ukrainian energy system lost more than 50% of its capacity.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that $1 trillion would be needed to restore Ukraine. He noted that there are countries ready to take “patronage” over certain regions, cities and businesses that have suffered the most from the conflicts.
