Consequences of the bombardment: electricity was cut off in some districts of Kiev, – DTEK

Stabilization interruption programs were implemented in the Goloseevsky, Shevchenkovsky, Solomensky and Svyatoshinsky districts. Due to equipment damage, electrical facilities cannot transmit energy to all residents of the capital.

Due to the damage to energy infrastructure facilities during the heavy bombardment in Kiev on Friday, March 10th, balancing programs were implemented for power outages. This was reported by the press service of DTEK.

Today, electricity was cut off in the following areas:

  • Goloseevsky,
  • Shevchenkovskiy,
  • Solomensky,
  • Svyatoshinsky districts.

The company said electrical utilities were unable to transmit energy to all residents in these areas due to equipment damage.

Sergey Kovalenko, CEO of Yasno, which is part of the DTEK group, confirmed on his social networks that after yesterday’s bombing, emergency teams have yet to repair the damage to the power system.

“Therefore, Ukrenergo ordered the use of programs in part of the Goloseevsky, Svyatoshinsky, Solomensky and Shevchenkovsky districts,” he said.

The company’s general manager noted that as soon as the power engineers complete the repair work, the above areas will return to full power supply.

Recall that today, March 10, Sergei Kovalenko explained why the Ukrainians turned off the light during the missile attacks of the Russian Federation. According to him, voltage fluctuations were noted during the Russian bombardment on March 9. To prevent this, power engineers have initiated preventive power outages in some parts of the country.
