From a hundred thousand to a million: how to cash out wounded soldiers

According to lawyer Anastasia Vlodenkova, while the injured are being treated, they still receive monetary assistance and an additional monetary reward in the amount of 100,000 hryvnia.

The wounded Ukrainian army is entitled to cash, but there is one nuance. The lawyer of the NGO “Principle” Anastasia Volodenkova told what steps should be taken to obtain state aid.

According to the lawyer, during the treatment of the wounded, the payment of a monetary allowance and an additional monetary reward in the amount of 100,000 hryvnia were withheld.

However, if a wounded soldier is in rehabilitation, he is entitled to this money only in case of serious injury.

“After an injury related to state protection, during treatment you will receive both a monetary allowance and UAH 100,000. And during rehabilitation, only those who are recognized as having serious injuries receive UAH 100,000.”

Payments due to a wound in the front: how to receive and what conditions must be met

Cash payment comes monthly to the owner’s debit card.

To receive this money, you must present a certificate from the medical institution where the wounded soldier received medical care.

If it has been 4 months since you were admitted to a medical institution and the treatment continues, it is necessary to pass a military medical examination and obtain an appropriate document that will allow you to extend the payment. You will also need to fulfill one condition: to stay in the hospital continuously for 4 months.

Payment stopped due to the injury of a soldier: what to do

In case of cessation of payment for injury, after passing the MMC (military medical commission), it is necessary to write a report to the command of the military unit demanding compensation for the entire treatment period. If the objection is not answered and the payment does not continue, an appeal should be made to the Headquarters of the Operational Command to which the unit is attached, as well as to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine or the Ministry of Finance. .

Soldier injured: what additional payments is he entitled to?

In this case, the army has the right to receive financial assistance from the military unit, which is paid once a year in the amount of monthly allowances. To receive it, you must submit a report to the commander.

Anastasia Volodenkova emphasized that such a document should be presented to your emergency commander immediately after discharge from the hospital.

Additional financial assistance is paid only in case of disability or percentage disability. Its size depends on the disability group and subsistence level.

Soldiers who are disabled due to wounds in 2023 are entitled to receive the following payments from the state:

  • 1 disabled group – 1,073,600 UAH;
  • 2 groups of disabled people – 805,200 UAH;
  • 3rd group of disabilities – 671 000 UAH.

Recall, on March 8 it was learned that the UN continues to pay 6,600 UAH to the Ukrainians. International organizations in Ukraine are starting to accept applications for cash payments for IDPs and war victims again.

Also in early February, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the procedure for receiving 30 and 100 thousand hryvnia. According to Deputy Minister Anna Malyar, soldiers involved in the delivery of fuel and food to the border line will receive pay in proportion to the time they complete such tasks.
