Siluanov: Ministry of Finance plans to borrow 3.5 trillion rubles in 2023 and repay 1 trillion

The Russian Ministry of Finance plans to borrow 3.5 trillion rubles in 2023, and intends to repay 1 trillion. This was stated by the head of the department Anton Siluanov, his words are quoted TASS.

“In order to fulfill all our borrowing plans this year, we will borrow about 3.5 trillion rubles on a gross basis, about (one. – Approx. REN TV) we will pay off a trillion, Siluanov noted.

So the head of the Ministry of Finance answered the question of how much domestic debt can increase.

According to him, such plans of the ministry “are quite realizable.”

“This year we do not plan to enter foreign markets. Actually, those previous entries into foreign markets were mainly for investors from unfriendly countries,” – concluded Anton Siluanov.

Earlier it was reported that Russian budget revenues began to stabilize and catch up with spending in March.
