The countries of the North Atlantic alliance must increase the production of weapons. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg made such an appeal on June 2.

On Friday, the politician spoke with the agency Bloomberg. During the interview, he recalled that the Alliance member states had depleted their stocks of weapons due to supplies to Ukraine.

“The Allies are running out of supplies to be able to support Ukraine, so we need to increase production”– says the Secretary General.

He also stressed that NATO countries should sign contracts only after the industry is ready to invest and increase production.

It should be noted that the members of the Alliance, according to plans, will coordinate all issues on June 11 and 12 in Vilnius. There will be a summit meeting.

Recall that at the end of April, Stoltenberg reported that NATO was increasing the supply of aircraft and tanks to Kyiv.
