At the end of 2022, Sberbank shareholders decided to pay increased dividends to buyers of shares. Their total cost is 565 billion rubles, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said.

According to the head of the Ministry of Finance, these figures have become record high in the entire history of the bank. Thus, shareholders will receive 25 rubles per share, as opposed to 18.7 rubles, which were paid in 2021 for 2020.

“This indicates the stability of the largest bank in the Russian Federation – Sberbank”– Siluanov said at a press conference following the results of the annual general meeting of shareholders.

Earlier, Sberbank expanded the limit for purchases from a bank card without entering a PIN code at its terminals. The initiative was launched in early March 2023 in a test mode.
