Changes await some Ukrainian refugees in the fall of 2023. In Prague, for example, free travel for most citizens will be abolished.
Ukrainian refugees in Prague will lose the right to discounted travel on public transport in the city as early as 2023. From October 1, all Ukrainian citizens arriving in the capital of the Czech Republic after the start of a large-scale war will purchase travel tickets at standard prices, Proukrainu.blesk.cz reports.
How much does it cost to travel in Prague?
Ukrainian refugees and Prague residents can purchase 30, 90 or 365-day passes. The cost depends on which pass you choose:

- In the capital, disabled people can travel free of charge on public transportation except trains. There is a 75 percent discount for travels in the region.
People with difficult financial situations also benefit from transportation assistance, but Ukrainians under temporary protection do not fall into this category.
