According to the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, assistance is paid to people who have not yet received assistance from international organizations and whose monthly income does not exceed UAH 5,400 per person.
The Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) collects data to provide financial assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs) living in the Lviv and Volyn regions. The Ministry reported this on its official telegram channel.
Payments amount to 3,600 hryvnia per month for each family member in an IDP. Payment period is three months.
Who can receive UN assistance?
Cash payments are made to people who have not yet received assistance from international organizations and whose monthly income per capita does not exceed 5,400 hryvnia.
Applications are being accepted from displaced persons who moved to the Lviv and Volyn regions after the start of a full-scale occupation and after February 24, 2022. Payments will also be paid to those returning home after being forced to move due to the Russian occupation.
Payments will be received by IDPs who meet the following vulnerability criteria:
- Single parents caring for children under 18 and/or people over 55;
- Families of elderly people over 55 years of age;
- families caring for individuals with special needs;
- Families caring for adopted children.
How to apply for UN assistance
To apply for UN assistance you will need to provide the following documents:
- TIN;
- identification;
- IDP status certificate;
- IBAN of the main applicant’s bank card;
- birth certificate of children;
- child custody certificate;
- disability or chronic disease certificate or medical certificate.
All family members must be present for the application. For people with limited mobility, registration can be made using original documents if a health certificate is presented.

- February 12 from 11:00 to 16:00 Novy Razdel, St. Shevchenko, 13;
- February 16 from 11:00 to 15:30 Novovolynsk, blvd. Shevchenko, 7.
The registration center in Lviv is located at: pl. Malanyuka, 2 is open from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 to 16:00.
