The incidence of influenza and SARS in Russia is growing again. Nearly a million people have already been infected. And this is half as much as in the first New Year’s week.

The increased activity of the population is the main reason for such a sharp jump.

Swine flu is still the leading pathogen. The coronavirus is also not losing ground: the curve of cases registered in the country went up again and added 40%.

Earlier, the director of the LabQuest laboratory, candidate of medical sciences Natalya Logacheva, said that a surge in the incidence of influenza B, which is now replacing swine flu, is possible in early February. You can protect yourself by getting vaccinated. Russians are also being urged to get vaccinated against the coronavirus. In mid-January, a new strain of “kraken” arrived in the country. At the moment, it is considered the most contagious.
