Begins to “beg”: Russia is inclined to negotiate Ukraine through intermediaries – Danilov (video)

According to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Ukraine has four simple conditions to enter negotiations with the Kremlin.

The Russian Federation works with some countries and invites them to act as mediators in the negotiations between the Russian Federation and Ukraine. Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, said this in an interview with Radio NV.

Alexey Danilov pointed out that Russian President Vladimir Putin has set the goal of completely capturing the Lugansk and Donetsk regions. He believes the Kremlin probably understood that the real goals of the military invasion of Ukraine were unattainable for the Russian Armed Forces.

“That’s why they’re begging today. They’re taking a whole pool of negotiators. Now they’re working hard to get into negotiations with certain groups. Brazil is already there and everybody is mediating,” said Danilov. .

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council listed 4 simple requirements that Moscow must fulfill before starting a dialogue with Kyiv:

  • Russian troops must leave the occupied territory of Ukraine;
  • those responsible for starting the war and for war crimes should be brought to trial;
  • Ukraine should receive security guarantees;
  • responsibility.

Danilov also declared that it is unacceptable to accept the terms of the terrorists.

“When some of us think that we need to be put in some kind of framework so that Putin and I can talk about something, yes, but first Putin has to meet the conditions that our country has. It doesn’t work,” Alexey said. Danilov concluded his speech.

Recall that on February 1, the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko announced that Moscow is ready for negotiations with Kyiv. At the same time, the Kremlin rejected Ukraine’s preconditions.

In addition, the Russian Foreign Ministry refused to mediate with the UN in negotiations with Ukraine. Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergei Vershinin, in a meeting with journalists on January 30, accused the organization of “open hypocrisy”.

Focus He also wrote that Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu announced on January 10 that Russia is ready for peace talks. The diplomat also noted that Ankara supports Ukraine’s “peace formula”.

We also wrote that Polish President Andrzej Duda advised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, after the victory over the Russian Federation, to accept his surrender in Pereyaslav. According to the Polish president, the Russians will “crawl on their knees” to sign a peace treaty.
