Toyota’s new Prius plug-in hybrid could pre-order online. Customers booking a new Japanese car will have priority over delivery and will receive an included Enel X 1385 kWh voucher valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and equal to 100 full car top-ups. The pre-order phase will end on April 18, 2023. The price list of the new model for the Italian market has not yet been disclosed.
Anyone who wants to pre-order the new Prius Plug-in Hybrid must go to the Toyota website, go to the page for the new model, select a color between gray and yellow, register and leave a deposit of 250 euros. The automaker makes it clear that color choice is optional. As soon as bookings are officially open, customers will be able to change their choice.
If for some reason you don’t want to proceed with the actual order later, no problem. In fact, Toyota will reimburse customers for the €250 deposit. The manufacturer also adds that at the moment the new Prius can pre-order only in the Lounge packagewhich features 19-inch alloy wheels, full LED headlights, a 12.3-inch Toyota Smart Connect+ infotainment system, heated sports fabric seats with power adjustments, and the Toyota T-Mate package with the latest generation of Toyota Safety Sense.
As a reminder, the new Toyota Prius will only be offered in Europe as a Plug-in version. The power unit consists of a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine with 148 hp. (111 kW) in combination with a new 160 hp electric unit. (120 kW). Generally available 223 HP (164 kW).
The power plant is powered by one Battery 13.6 kWh which allows the new Prius to travel on electric power alone for up to 69 km. The car is based on the second generation TNGA-C platform. The new Prius will be available at dealerships from from July 2023.
