Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Dmitry Bryzhinsky to head the military administration of the city of Chernihiv. The appointment decree was published by the Presidency on 17 February.
“To appoint Bryzhinsky Dmitry Vladimirovich to head the military administration of the Chernigov region of the Chernigov region,” the text of the document says.
The military administration of the city of Chernihiv was created recently. Zelensky’s decree on its creation was published on February 7.

Dmitry Bryzhinsky, a graduate of the Kharkov Institute of Tank Forces, graduated with honors in 2001. Bryzhinsky became the commander of the 93rd Kholodny Yar mechanized brigade in March 2019. It was under his command that the Turkish Bayraktar unmanned aerial vehicle was first used in Donbass in October 2021.
