“The Kremlin and its criminal gangs carry out hybrid attacks every day in Moldova, using propaganda weapons to sow seeds of hatred, undermine our trust in each other and in our state. Since the Kremlin cannot reach us by tanks, it sponsors the spread of lies. The media and social networks “invested large sums of money, disintegrating criminal groups. financed by black money. The lies broadcast on television and the Internet have become the most dangerous weapon.
Maia Sandu noted that she will present this initiative to the Assembly. The main duties of the department will be as follows:

- cooperation with all authorities of the country to promote national interests;

“Secondly, this center will identify, evaluate and combat disinformation to eliminate the risks of hybrid and information threats to our country’s security,” the message said.
On May 30, the text of the bill will be published on the presidential administration’s website, and the draft will be submitted to parliament for approval by the end of next month.
