The Supreme Court of Anti-Corruption of Ukraine (VAKS) found People’s Party Deputy Anna Kolesnik guilty with a affidavit in her case, but she will not be punished in the end. This will be reported in the press service of the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP) on March 24.
In the announced decision, it is stated that the deputy committed a crime, while Section 1 Art. 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional statement of false information). But at the same time, on the basis of paragraph 1 of part 1 of Art. 49, Part 5 of Art. 74 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the official will not be punished for the statute of limitations for the crime.
