The journalist has four daughters and three adult sons. But none of them is defending Ukraine on the front.
A well-known Ukrainian journalist, founder of the GORDON online publication, Dmitry Gordon, while answering the questions of the presenter during an interview for the YouTube channel “And Gryanul Graham”, explained the main reasons why his three sons did not defend Ukraine at the front. against Russian aggression.
Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon, now 55 years old, has seven children from three marriages. Gordon’s eldest sons Rostislav (born in 1992) and Dmitry (born in 1995) took part in the journalist’s first marriage, Lev (born in 2001) in his second marriage. Also in this marriage they had a daughter, Elizabeth. With his third wife, journalist Alesya Batsman, Gordon had three daughters – Santa, Alice and Liana.
During the interview, the presenter asked the user a question: “Why are none of Gordon’s sons fighting at the front?”.
Gordon announced that his eldest son, Rostilav, had a very serious illness.
“It’s not like going to the front with him, it’s hard for him to live with him,” Gordon said.
Regarding Dmitry and Leo, the journalist said that both of his sons were born outside of Ukraine, and Leo is usually a US citizen.
“Both have lived in America for many years. One studied at school in England, then at university in England. They were not born in Ukraine,” Gordon said.
It is known that Rostislav graduated from the Kiev Institute of International Relations, and Dmitry graduated from the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
We remind you that in December last year, Dmitry Gordon said that the head of the Ingulets football club, Ukrainian businessman Alexander Povoroznyuk, was spreading false information about himself that completely coincided with Russian propaganda.
We also remind you that in March last year, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation filed a lawsuit against Dmitry Gordon on three counts. According to the Russian side, the Ukrainian journalist called for “starting an aggressive war and extremist actions”.
In April 2021, even before the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Dmitry Gordon announced his readiness to go to the front to fight. Then the journalist said that if he was enlisted, “you will have no choice”.
