“He started persuading the police to ‘solve the problem’ in exchange for money to evade responsibility, leaving them 5,000 hryvnia for failing to issue protocol. The man was also notified of suspicion under Part 1 of Art. 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (offering, promising or providing an unlawful benefit to an official). He is facing up to 4 years in prison.
